Another major area of study is visual arts, with possible concentrations in art history, studio art, graphic art and visual communication and art education K-12. Students may earn either the Bachelor of Arts or the Bachelor of Science degree, depending on the specific concentration. Whether the desire is to teach, to design cartoons or book covers, to illustrate manuals or design signs, or to create an individual line of jewelry, a major in visual arts can lead to a variety of professions in which creative and scholarly activities connect.
