Dr. Sam Faught came to Lambuth in 1984. He has a Ph.D. in management from the University of Mississippi and M.B.A. and M.S.I.S. degrees from Arkansas State University. Before entering the field of education, Dr. Faught worked in the manufacturing industry for 10 years. Dr. Faught's primary teaching responsibilities are in management and statistics.

His teaching philosophy includes integrating many real life examples from his past work experiences into the subject matter being taught. His willingness to work one-on-one with his students in statistics, makes the subject material more digestible.
