LOCAL CHURCH TO HOLD WORSHIP SERVICE AT LAMBUTH UNIVERSITY

Jackson, Tennessee, June 10, 2010:

On Sunday, June 20th, 2010, members of the Lambuth Memorial United Methodist Church will congregate on Lambuth University's historic quadrangle campus for their worship service.

The Summer Break-Out event will be packed with activities for families and children of all ages. The "camp meeting style" worship service begins at 9:30AM. So bring your lawn chairs, picnic blankets, and plenty of friends! Games and activities will take place at 10:30, with a hamburger and hot dog cookout scheduled for 11:30AM.

"We are really looking forward to having our Sunday morning worship service outdoors-on the campus of our prestigious neighbor, Lambuth University," says Dr. Gary Morse, Pastor of Lambuth Memorial United Methodist Church.

Lambuth Memorial United Methodist Church is located one block east of Lambuth University.

"Our congregation has been here since it was formed in 1874. Our church has been tied to Lambuth University in mission and ministry for 136 years. And we're really looking forward to celebrating for another 136," adds Morse.

The event will be held rain or shine in front of the Wilder Student Union building.
